INrecruitment are recruiting an Accountancy Practice Manager for our client, a leading accountancy practice based on the M11 corridor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant wishing to progress their career to join a truly progressive practice in a senior position.
The role
Reporting to the Director, and deputising for him in his absence, the successful candidate will have a major part to play in managing and developing the practice. As such, this is a critical appointment for our client.
You will use your general practice experience to undertake a range of general accounting functions, particularly tax computations (personal and corporate), the completion of VAT returns and accounts preparation for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
This is very much a client facing role, and the successful candidate must be able to evidence excellent communication skills and an ability to manage, mentor, and efficiently review the work of junior team members.
The person
This is a senior position within the practice, and the successful Accountancy Practice Manager must be a qualified ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, and with at least 10 years general practice experience.
Able to work independently, with the experience to manage and develop the practice, the successful candidate will also be a dynamic self-starter with the ability to develop a network and grow the practice.
