Location: South East – Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + excellent benefits
INrecruitment are recruiting an Accounting Manager for our client, a one of the largest and well-established independent accountancy practices in the South East.
The successful Accounting Manager will either come from an accountancy practice, a financial services practice, or industry, and will be expected to enhance our clients reputation for delivering an excellent client service, as this role is very much about leading, supervising, training, and developing the Accounts Team.
The role
This is a strong people-focused role, as the Accounting Manager will engage with the Senior Leadership Team at a strategic level to effectively enhance the firm’s client service reputation, by providing inspirational team leadership, effective management, and recognising and developing commercial opportunities.
With a large degree of autonomy, the successful candidate will be responsible for team performance, a wide range of HR functions, be the lead for the accounting team, and be responsible for delivering projects across multiple business areas.
The person
You must have exceptional interpersonal and communicative skills, as you will leverage your experience to lead the Accounts Team in delivering both a great service and commercially focused results against clearly defined objectives.
You must be CIMA, ACCA, ACA, (or equivalent), qualified, and able to evidence a strong track record of leadership, innovation, and excellent stakeholder and IT skills.
You must be commercially aware, have a strong desire to deliver change, and have experience in managing a mixed team of studiers and qualified ACCAs, together with a wide portfolio of clients.
