INrecruitment are recruiting an Accounts Manager/Accounts Senior Manager for our prestigious client, who have over 50 offices across the UK. This role will be based at their Surrey office.
If you are currently working in industry and looking to move into Practice or have previously worked in Practice and are looking to move back, this outsourcing role offers the opportunity to work for a successful mid-tier firm of chartered accountants who have an innovative and progressive approach to business.
The role
Together with managing your own portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, the successful Accounts Manager/Accounts Senior Manager will also have Practice management responsibilities, management of the accounts team and the production of statutory management accounts.
In the portfolio manager role you will have an overview of owner-managed clients’ self-assessment returns and also liaise effectively with the tax team.
The person
The successful Accounts Manager/Accounts Senior Manager should be ACCA, ACA, (or equivalent), or CIMA, qualified, experienced in handling a diverse client portfolio, and leading and supervising more junior colleagues.
You should be commercially aware, have strong interpersonal skills, a good understanding of corporation tax, VAT, and personal tax at a compliance level, and knowledge of FRS102 and the Companies Act 2006.
