INrecruitment are recruiting an Accounts Manager for our client, a successful and progressive mid-tier firm of chartered accountants. With a National network of offices, they are now seeking an Accounts Manager to work at their office in the West Midlands.
This role will also be suitable for an Accounts Assistant Manager seeking to progress to Accounts Manager and beyond, as the successful candidate will take part in our clients’ internal Development Programme, enabling Managers to progress within the firm.
This is an advisory, client-facing position supporting, managing, and overseeing the delivery of accounts preparation services.
The successful Accounts Manager will manage and oversee multiple client engagements, across a portfolio of mainly owner-managed businesses, whilst being involved in some of our clients’ largest and most complex assignments.
You will also manage the workflow and performance of the accounts department and contribute the success of the office by improving staff performance and technical development through coaching and mentoring more junior colleagues.
You must be ACA, ACCA, or overseas equivalent, qualified with at least 4 years post qualified experience.
You will have experience of managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, experience of dealing with complex client issues and as well as budget preparation and management.
The management of client relationships is key to this role, as is leadership experience at a management level.
