INrecruitment are recruiting an experienced Audit Manager, or an Audit Assistant Manager currently acting-up as an Audit Manager, for our client – one of the largest and well-established business advisory firms in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will join a progressive and expanding audit team.
Our client offers the full range of accountancy services to a wide range of clients and have a reputation for both tailoring their services and responding to client needs. The successful Audit Manager will be expected to enhance and expand this well-earned reputation.
The role
Whilst managing your own diverse client portfolio you will also be expected to manage the audit and assurance process, delivering an excellent client service, and making a significant contribution towards the success of the firm by developing sustainable client relationships.
The successful Audit Manager will manage all aspects of audit assignments, assure audit quality, and ensure that budgetary requirements are achieved. Staff supervision, and an ability to develop junior colleagues is also integral to the role.
The person
You should be ACA, ACCA, (or equivalent) qualified, with good knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and Auditing Standards, and have experience at Manager level, or as an Audit Assistant Manager with experience of acting at Manager level.
You must be able to evidence your assurance experience and the production of high quality audits, across a portfolio of corporate clients, individuals, and businesses, together with your ability to work against tight deadlines.
The successful Audit Manager must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as our client prides themselves on developing deep client relationships and delivering unparalleled services to their clients.
