Location: London – £90,000 – £120,000 + Bonus
Our clients are a large and well established advisory firm in London with a fast-growing corporate finance team, who are now looking to recruit an M&A Corporate Finance Associate Director or Director.
Our client has been involved in many notable deals in the mid-markets and their corporate finance team is on a steep upward trajectory, delivering value for their clients across a broad portfolio of deals.
Whilst our clients are looking for a M&A Director, they will also consider an Associate Director if you are able to show your experience and the ability to develop.
The Role
The successful M&A Director will be expected to build new networks, develop new client relationships, and undertake deal origination activities.
You will also be expected to be the main day-to-day point of contact for clients and initiate and lead business development meetings.
As a M&A Director you will also have responsibility for all activities of the M&A team, and an ability to lead and develop the team to enable them to positively contribute to our clients growth.
The M&A Director will be an integral part of our clients’ leadership team, instrumental in growing the firm and on track for promotion, as our clients are renowned for recognising and developing talent.
The Person
In this M&A Director role you should preferably be ACCA, ACA, or equivalent, qualified, although our client would also consider candidates with the right experience, drive, and ability.
You should have at least 5 years’ experience operating in the mid-markets in the Corporate Finance arena, leading teams and planning and carrying out assignments to a high standard.
You should be an experienced M&A professional, ideally with an accountancy practice or investment banking background, with experience in originating and executing deals, and experienced in conducting a range of transactions across the mid-markets.
