Our clients are a successful and progressive mid-tier firm of chartered accountants with a network of offices across the UK, and INrecruitment are now recruiting a Corporate Finance Director to join their expanding corporate finance team.
The role
Reporting directly to the Partner, the Director will support the growing presence of their corporate finance business in selected offices by leading and delivering transactions and developing deal initiation networks.
Focusing on lower to mid-market M&A transactions in the SME market, the Corporate Finance Director will be expected to develop new client relationships from new or existing clients or from business contacts, participate in presentations to potential new clients, and identify appropriate cross-selling opportunities for other service offerings of the firm.
The person
For this Corporate Finance Director role you will ideally be ACA, ACCA, (or equivalent), qualified and with significant experience of working within a corporate finance environment. You may come from a Top 20 firm, a mid-tier accountancy practice, an independent accountancy firm.
You will be experienced in leading Corporate Finance teams in M&A transactions in the SME market, have the ability to manage a range of time-critical projects, and a proven ability to generate your own deal flows.
A commercial mindset and an enthusiastic approach to work is important, as is the ability to influence at all levels.
The role offers flexible working, mentoring from senior colleagues, and is on Partner track.
