INrecruitment are recruiting a Financial Controller for our client, an established award-winning firm in the Top 100 practices in the country.
A number of strategic mergers has brought rapid expansion, which has seen our clients become a leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm with a reach from the Midlands to London.
The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the daily finances of the firm and providing accurate monthly financial data and company accounts, informing efficient Board-level decision-making.
You will be responsible for the preparation of the firms’ statutory accounts, managing and organising visits by the clients’ auditors, as well as managing and liaising with any external suppliers to the firm.
The person
Candidates need to be ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
You must be able to evidence success in a similar role, together with sound financial management, as well having the ability to deliver quality results and team leadership. A high level of IT skill’s, allied to a knowledge of current accountancy software packages and relevant legislation, will make you a strong contender for this role.
